Shipping & Delivery


DELIVERY OF LARGE ITEMS, DELIVERED ON A PALLET

We will safely deliver your larger items on a lorry with a tail lift facility if you live out of our local delivery area. It is your responsibility to arrange for someone to help you move the stove into the property.

Larger items that are delivered  with the haulage company,  will be delivered  to the house, but they will not be able to bring the stove into your property due to insurance reasons. It is therefore your responsibility to arrange the necessary equipment or man power required in order to move the larger item to the desired place.  Please note that if there are steps or a graveled drive, then the haulage company will not be able to bring the stove to the door and a “kerb side” delivery will be necessary.

Please note that if a delivery of the Larger Pallet products are refused and sent back to us because delivery was not able to take place due to insufficient manpower at the delivery destination any refunds that are requested will be minus the return delivery fees of £100.

If you book a delivery day with the haulage company and you are not in when they deliver you will incur a £20 redelivery charge as set out by the haulage company.

Damages must be reported with in 48 hrs to avoid having to pay for a replacement 

All goods must be signed for on delivery and items cannot be left where there is no one available to accept delivery.

If the goods are in stock we can dispatch the same day or the next day and then the above timescales can be followed. (During busy periods a longer timescale will come into place).

Should the goods be out of stock then we will quote a time scale based on the manufacturers estimated time. Please note that we will give you a rough time scale and should not be taken literally.

Please note that any costs incurred to you or loss of earnings due to delayed delivery. - we are not liable for these costs. For example a delivery is delayed and you have to re-book an installer - we are not liable for the extra installer charges. We recommend you are in receipt of the goods and satisfied with the condition before installer is booked. 

 

DELIVERY OF SMALLER, BOXED ITEMS

Smaller boxed items will be delivered via courier.

All goods must be signed for on delivery and items cannot be left where there is no one available to accept delivery.

If the goods are in stock we can dispatch the same day or the next day and then the above timescales can be followed. (During busy periods a longer timescale will come into place).

Please do not sign for or accept any goods until unpacked and checked in full. Only sign if you are satisfied with the condition of your purchase. Items which have been signed for are deemed to be in good condition.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. 

 

RETURNS AND REPLACEMENTS

 

Mail order, telephone and internet sales to individuals (not businesses), are covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (UK Law Directive 97/7/EC). This protects you by providing a 7 working day cooling off period after the product has been delivered.

As a customer you have the option to cancel any order between the time of placing it and 7 working days after delivery.

You have the right to a refund within 30 working days of cancellation. We will action the refund as soon as the goods have been returned to us in a re-sellable condition.

The goods must be boxed and must have not been fitted and/or used in any way. Should we find any damage upon receipt we will advise you and deduct any costs from the refund amount.

We will refund the amount originally paid minus any damages and also minus any costs of collecting the goods.

Cost of returning a Larger Item (eg. Stove) on a Pallet:

Collection & return to us = £100.00

Collection & return to us & a different stove re-delivered = £140.00

 

Cost of returning a Smaller Item (eg Boxed items):

Collection and Return to us = £ 15.00

With smaller items you may also arrange delivery back to us yourselves.  Please ensure that the item is clearly addressed and that your details (name and address) are enclosed.  Please ensure that the items are packaged well.  Always request a Proof of Posting receipt from the Courier Company you use for your Insurance Purposes.  Once the goods have been return and we are satisfied with the condition of the returned item(s) we will arrange a refund for you.

 

Ordering

All transaction information passed between The Arcade and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information
