It is built into a sleekly styled inset fire  that will look good in modern or traditional settings.   The grate is a true multifuel grate which can switch from coal burning mode to  wood or peat burning with one simple movement. This ensures that whatever  fuel is used it can be burnt in the most efficient manner, and that ash can be  cleared from the grate simply and cleanly.  The airwash system that not only helps to reduce emissions to atmosphere,  but also keeps the glass clear, allowing you to enjoy the view of the fire  whatever fuel is used.  The SLX comes as either an inset or freestanding  in each of the two models:   The SLX 20i and the SLX 20FS are for room heating, delivering a stunning  amount of heat. They are fully controllable with a built in thermostat regulating  the heat output to the room.  Both models come with the option of a small add  in boiler to heat the domestic hot water. The SLX 45i and SLX 45FS have a thermostatically controlled, integral boiler  that delivers a heat output sufficient to power 8-9 radiators and ample hot  water.  Because it is fitted with a water temperature sensitive thermostat,  heating controls (such as the Charnwood Solid Fuel Heating Control System)  can be fitted, to give heat precisely when it is required.   The Charnwood SLX models are finished in a choice of a gloss black vitreous  enamel or variety of paint finishes. See Charnwood Colour for our paint  finishes. LA (MULTI-FUEL) INSET OR FREE-STANDING Charnwood are the leading suppliers of Solid / Multifuel appliances for Local  Authorities and Housing Associations in the UK. We have specialised in  developing a range of roomheaters that are especially suited to this sector of  social housing particularly in rural non-gas areas. Their robust construction  ensures that they will be long lasting as well as efficient. The LAs ability to burn  a mixture of biomass wood fuel with coal based solid fuel products gives users  and specifiers an immediate and effective solution to cutting carbon emissions.  The Charnwood LA is available in both the inset and freestanding versions,  from a single  roomheater to a full central heating boiler model and with a  range of outputs to suit most applications.  This means the Charnwood you  chose will be the one for the job in hand and you can be sure it will do it well.  Charnwood’s multi-fuel grate is the very best  grate system on the market. Built into our  COVE, COUNTRY 16b models and all  ISLAND and SLX models, the grate can be  altered to ensure the most efficient burning  conditions. By operating a lever on the side  of the stove, with the tool provided, a series  of grate bars can be set into a closed, flat  bed position (the most efficient way to burn  wood) or to an open grate for ultra efficient  burning of coal and smokeless fuels. This  also acts as a highly effective riddling  mechanism, neatly dropping the ash into the  twin wall-to-wall pan below for clean disposal.  Because the grate is operated externally all  of these manoeuvres can be carried out with  the doors closed and when the stove is fully  loaded and under fire.   PARKRAY G RANGE PARKRAY CUMBRIA Created in smooth cast iron – with rounded corners and a wide glass window  – the G-Range fire is a work of art for your living room. Make it a point of  focus and you’ve got an instant designer makeover. Inspired by a modern  palette, the G-Range is available in two stylish colours: Midnight Black or  Autumn Dusk (in glossy enamel). This stove is a practical solution, created to run your hot water and central  heating behind the scenes. The G-Range fire delivers a seriously intense  performance, running between 8 and 10 radiators.  So... pile the grate with fuel, then relax and let your new boiler heat the whole  house. Because it’s designed for smokeless fuel (like anthracite), the fire will  burn for much longer than traditional models; you can even use the overnight  plate to keep the coals smouldering softly at bedtime. Old-meets-new is the theme for the glamorous Cumbria fire. It looks just as  good against a modern stone fireplace as a Victorian tiled one. But, while it  looks the picture of classic charm, this traditional model has been updated  with smoother lines and higher performance. It’s benchmarked by HETAS,  the government agency for home heating appliances – so you can be sure  that it meets and exceeds all the latest standards. You can burn coal, wood, or long-lasting smokeless fuel, and enjoy a  roaring fire while the hidden boiler quietly warms your home. The Cumbria  can run 8 or 10 radiators as well as providing hot water, which you control  using the waterway thermostat.   The Clearview Solution 500 is a highly efficient clean burning convection stove.  The hot air wash system gives fascinating flame patterns and crystal clear  glass, bringing elegance and comfort to any home.  Heat Output 12kW Flue Diameter 175mm Stove dimensions Flat top 690 mm wide x    703mm high x 440mm deep Low Canopy 690 mm wide x   905 mm high x 440 mm deep High Canopy 690 mm wide x 1120 mm high x  440mm deep Boiler 1: (domestic) 10,000 BTU Boiler 2: (baffle) 27,000 BTU Boiler 3: (wrap-around) 40,000 BTU CLEARVIEW 650 Heat Output 14kW  Flue Diameter 175mm Stove Diemsnions: Flat top  712 mm high x 675 mm wide x 440 mm deep Low Canopy  998 mm high x 675 mm wide x 440 mm deep High Canopy 1175 mm high x 675 mm wide x 440 mm deep   Boiler 1: (domestic) 10,000 BTU Boiler 2: (baffle) 27,000 BTU Boiler 3: (wrap-around) 45,000 BTU

There is an optional extra of a glass top plate for a more contemporary  look, and the plinth has a glass front as standard.  Stove Dimensions 563mm wide x 572mm high x 363mm deep These stoves shown below are stoves with back boilers for central heating.  The back boiler inside the stove uses some of  the stove’s output to produce heating for the radiators.  As the boilers are fitted internally in the stove the stoves are  generally no bigger than stoves of the same kW output with no back boilers. Internally the stoves are not smaller either  when they have a boiler fitted as the boiler replaces the bricks inside the dry, room heating only stoves.     In recent years, due to the increasing cost of heating fuel, more and more people are looking to making their homes less  reliant on gas, oil and electricity.  Wood-burning and Multi-fuel stoves with back boilers is an alternative option.  These  boiler stoves can be used a sole form of heating or as a supplimentary heating system to coincide with your existing central  heating system.  We recommend that you consult a qualified HETAS (wet) installer before purchasing any boiler stove to  check the compatibility of your existing central heating system. Clip-in back boilers can be retro fitted and can be purchased seperately.  They have a lower output than the integral wrap  around boiler stoves.  Wrap Around boilers mostly factory fitted (apart from Clearview Stove’s versions) and have a higher output.  Stoves with  wrap around boilers have a lower heat output to the room.   Heat output for central heating stoves are measured n BTU’s. For domesic hot water allow 8,000 to 10,000 btu for water.   For every average sized central heating radiator allow approximately 4,000 btu each.  STRATFORD EB FREE-STANDING BOILER STOVE STRATFORD EB INSET BOILER STOVE Offering a fully functional yet compact design, our Ecoboiler HE boiler stoves provide the solution to minimise  dependency on existing heat sources.
